Terms of Service
By starting a project with The Render Unit LLC (“Service Provider”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all projects and packages unless otherwise agreed in writing.
‍1. Scope of Services
‍We provide marketing and creative services as detailed in your quotation or package agreement. Deliverables are outlined in the quotation and may include images, animations, branded floor plans, websites, or related collateral.
‍2. Quotation and Approval
‍Accepting a quotation confirms the scope of work, pricing, and timeline.
Your deposit or upfront payment serves as approval.
Any change to the agreed scope may affect pricing and delivery schedules.
3. Payments and Refunds
‍Full payment is due upfront before work begins. If full payment is not made upfront, the remaining balance must be paid by the 11th day after the first payment.
Refunds are available up to the 10th day after the first payment.
If a refund is issued, all work and deliverables created remain the property of The Render Unit and may not be used.
Final, high-resolution files are released only after all dues are cleared.
Any ongoing software costs (e.g., hosting, domains, analytics) will be in the client’s name and paid directly by them.
4. Client Responsibilities
‍To keep the 4-week sprint on track, you must provide finalized floorplans, elevations, finishes, and location details within the first week.
Delayed files may cause rescheduling.
If you change core project files mid-project, the sprint will be rescheduled to fit the new scope.
Feedback is expected within 24 hours of receiving drafts unless otherwise agreed.
You are expected to attend all four pre-scheduled review calls. Missed calls may delay the sprint.
Design and material selections remain your responsibility.
5. Dormancy, Pauses, and Reactivation
‍If a project is inactive for more than 60 days due to missing files or feedback, it will be paused. Restarting will require a reactivation fee of 10% of the package price.
If a project is inactive for 120 days from the start date, it will be auto-closed with no refunds.
Restarted projects may be subject to new pricing and scheduling availability.
6. Revisions and Scope Changes
‍Each deliverable includes 2 complimentary revision rounds.
Additional revisions or scope changes may incur extra charges and affect timelines.
Major scope changes requiring rescheduling will be treated as new scope and priced accordingly.
7. Project Management and Communication
‍A Senior Project Lead manages day-to-day progress. A Project Director oversees quality at key checkpoints. A Client Manager ensures smooth communication and review calls.
Communication is primarily through email and project management tools. Weekly check-in calls are scheduled for feedback and decisions. Ad hoc calls are not guaranteed and depend on team availability.
8. Publicity and Portfolio Rights
‍Unless otherwise agreed in writing (such as through an NDA or specific reveal date), The Render Unit may showcase project deliverables in portfolios, case studies, and marketing materials.
‍9. Intellectual Property
‍Ownership of final deliverables transfers only after full payment is received.
Until then, all rights remain with The Render Unit.
10. Timelines and Dependencies
‍We aim to complete deliverables within 4 weeks. This depends on timely inputs and approvals from your side.
Milestones and review calls are set at project start. Delays on your side will extend the timeline.
If we fail to deliver on time due to internal reasons, we will adjust and accelerate remaining processes to compensate.
11. Force Majeure
‍Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or global emergencies.
‍12. Limitation of Liability
‍The Render Unit is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, buyer interest, or investment outcomes.
Deliverables are created using professional standards and performance indicators, but sales performance is not guaranteed.
13. Termination
‍Either party may terminate with written notice if the other materially breaches these terms and fails to fix the issue within 14 days.
We may terminate immediately if there is misconduct, misuse of deliverables, or failure to cooperate.
If you terminate mid-project, no refunds apply for work already started.
If a project is closed due to prolonged dormancy or misuse, no refunds apply.
Upon termination, rights to deliverables remain with The Render Unit until full payment is received.
14. Governing LawThese terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
‍By starting a project, you acknowledge and accept these Service Agreement Terms.
